Barrier cable is what keeps cars and people from going over the edge of a parking deck, ramp or open-sided floor. It only works if every strand is anchored right and stressed to the force the engineer specified.
Our crews install barrier cable systems in new parking structures and buildings: running the strand through the columns, setting the anchors, and stressing each cable to the design force. We document the stressing so the inspector and engineer have what they need.
